Bub's Player of the Week: Abby Ouimet '03
By Alison White, Staff Writer
Winning two games last week, the women's lacrosse team seems to be on quite a streak. In no small way, this can be attributed to one Abby Ouimet's play. Against Wellesley this past Thursday, she had three goals, and three assists too, proving her talent to be strong and true. This created a 17-5 win, the girls of Wellesley really took it on the chin. On Saturday afternoon, Wesleyan surely felt an impending sense of doom. They ran and they tried, but they could not break Ouimet's stride. Six goals she scored, not to mention the assist she put on the board. Amherst steamrolled 14-8, sealing our NESCAC Little III rival's fate. With 37 points, Abby is now tied for being the leading scorer on the team, and this appears to be quite a theme. Her companion at the top place is no other than Liz Martin, another familiar face. Where do you know her from you say, why it's a Bub's player from another day! Just remember Bub's only recognizes the best, and Abby, you're right up there with the rest!
