Today Bub's is taking a different approach, we decided that the person to be honored should be a coach. Michelle Morgan's soccer team defeated Smith last week, putting her into a class that is certainly most unique. For this was one special game, giving the coach her 200th win and all of Bubs' acclaim! Don't be confused, this isn't her only mark of repute, as there are three NIAC's, seven ECAC's and some NCAA tourney games to boot. Among that bunch, the latter's finals should be noted. Because of that effort, NSCAA/Adidas New England Coach of the Year Morgan was deservedly voted. It makes one think that these victories and awards are the result of a greater knowledge; for Bub's has noticed that Morgan's coached many other teams at the Fairest College. Squash, lacrosse and basketball are just a few to mention; there's also her leadership on the golf team that deserves some big attention. Let's just say it's clear to Bub's that Morgan's quite a catch for Amherst sports. So if you can, go and watch her, on our fields and courts.
