Traditionally one of the College's best fall teams has been the women's tennis team. With a record of 6-1, their only loss coming to Division I team UMass, this year's team is not an exception to the rule. But this week the Jeffs face their toughest Division III team of the season, the always potent Williams College Ephs. The Purple Cows, the defending National Champions and the Lord Jeffs have produced a number of epic battles over the years, and this weekend's match should be no different. The Jeffs come into the match red hot, notching three dominant victories in three matches over the weekend. Amherst will be led by sophomore Rachel Holt, the Omni Hotels East Regional Champion. But with two team shutouts over the weekend, the rest of the team should be ready to step up to the battles as well.
