Tied for the seventh and last playoff berth in the NESCAC Tournament, the field hockey team comes into its game with Trinity College as one of the hottest teams in the conference. The Jeffs come off a stunning 1-0 overtime win against one of the conference's best teams, the Williams College Ephs. By virtue of its one win against Amherst, Tufts has the tie-breaker in postseason seeding, making the Trinity game all the more important. Katherine Ryan '03 propelled the Jeffs to the victory against the Ephs with her thrilling goal four minutes into the overtime period. If the Jeffs are to defeat the Bantams and fulfill their goal of making the NESCAC Tournament, other members of the team must step up as well on Saturday.
