Bub's Player of the Week: Dan Glenn '05
By Alison White, Staff Writer
With all the snow and sleet on the ground of late, one would think it

impossible to play a soccer game of any weight. Yet as the Amherst men's soccer team headed to New York upstate, they knew their season was yet to abate. It was first round NCAA's, and the stakes increased with each game played. In that first contest against SUNY Cortland, one player clearly showed he had the game in hand. Dan Glenn was ready to go, and in the net he put on quite a show. The sophomore keeper hails from the sunny west coast, but showed that he could play in the cold as well as most. He tallied four saves and shut the Red Dragons out, leaving the idea of an Amherst win in no doubt. Amherst gained the victory one-to-zero, and in a low scoring game, this goalie was certainly the hero. Bub's knows about the big game Wednesday and Bub's does hope St. Lawrence will pay. We eagerly await the final score, hopefully in New York, it will not pour. With quick hands and a might punt, Glenn can keep the Jeffs in front. We know that Dan can do it again and secure a Regional title for the Jeff men.
