Freshman forward Steve Nelson stole the game this past weekend for the hockey team against Massachusetts College. After putting the Jeffs on the board with a goal in the second period, Nelson heated up in the third. With the Jeffs down 4-3, Nelson scored two goals within nine seconds in the last two minutes of the game. Nelson's heroics capped off a dramatic Amherst comeback and secured a hard-fought 5-4 victory, which ended a four-game Jeff losing streak.

Ashley Harmeling '05

Sophomore Ashley Harmeling continued her domination of the squash court with five victories over the weekend of Jan. 17 at the Amherst Invitational. Playing in the second position for the squash team, Harmeling did not drop a single game in any of her five impressive victories. Harmeling was also just one of two Jeff players to win a match against a tough Brown University squad.
