Bub's Player of the Week: Erich Schram '03
Bub's spent much of this past weekend down at Orr Rink, where the action was so quick that I barely could blink. The men's hockey team faced their most hated opponent of the year, a Williams team that clearly wasn't ready for a game so severe. The Ephs led in the second until captain Erich Schram took business into his own hands, he netted a Jeff goal and gained a few fans. Schram struck again, giving the Jeffs the lead, and despite Williams' best efforts, the Purple Cows had to concede. Not only did the Jeffs win the game, but this win also made them Champions of Little III fame. A defender scoring two goals in a game is quite a feat, but what's better is that in the defensive end, Schram is nearly impossible to beat. He played both ends all weekend long, ensuring a tie against a Midd. team that is indubitably strong. Schram is leading his team in a climb up the NESCAC, with a key game against Conn. on Friday next to attack.
