Lynch, the freshman goaltender for the men's hockey team, was named NESCAC Men's Hockey Co-Player of the Week due to the outstanding defense he provided for the Lord Jeffs this past weekend. During Friday's Little III Championship-winning game against archrival Williams College, Lynch saved 27 of 30 shots. In Saturday's game against Middlebury, Lynch capped off the weekend with 22 saves on 23 shots against the NESCAC's top team.

Amherst records in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke, teamed up with Bryan Woo '06, Rick Estacio '06 and Pat Kennedy '03 to set the Pratt Pool record in the 200-yard medley relay during Amherst's 169-68 drubbing of Union College. Pohorylo and the men's team finished the regular season a perfect 9-0.
