This Saturday at 3:00, the men's basketball team will square off against Little III rival Wesleyan in LeFrak Gymnasium. The Jeffs, who currently boast an impressive 18-3 record,lead the NESCAC and are the 12th-ranked D-III team nationally. A win for Amherst would likely assure the Jeffs of a first-place season finish in the NESCAC. Wesleyan, standing at 12-8, will look to improve their own position heading into the NESCAC Tournament with a win. In the two teams' first meeting this season, Amherst took advantage of a hot day shooting from beyond the three-point arc, and cruised to a 92-77 victory. Expect more of the same this weekend as the stellar Class of 2003 aims to finish it's last regular season game at LeFrak on a high note.
