It's the time of year to take to the pitcher's mound.

One hurler certainly came ready to play,

putting her foes in total disarray.

Miya Warner is only a first-year,

with a stellar start to her softball career.

The team has won eight games this season,

and Warner's pitching is the reason.

Opponents can barely get any hits,

her 95 strikeouts are giving them fits.

She was just named NESCAC Player of the Week,

and Bub's knows that she's barely at her peak.

We'll hope for this awful weather to stop,

so Miya and her team can rise to the top.
