Game of the Week: Men's lacrosse vs. Bowdoin
The men's lacrosse team will square off at Hitchcock Field against NESCAC rival Bowdoin College on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Amherst now stands at 6-2 overall and 3-2 in NESCAC play. The Jeffs are coming off a devastating 8-6 loss to national powerhouse Middlebury in which the Jeffs held a 4-3 lead at halftime. The Polar Bears enter the week at 5-6 overall, but are coming off of an impressive 16-15 win over Williams College. Senior attacker Chris Condlin, who has scored 23 goals so far this season, will be relied on to lead the Amherst offense. The Jeffs will also look to sophomore goaltender Cushing Donelan for more steady play in the cage. With a balanced offensive attack and steady defense, the Jeffs will hope to grab a home win and keep their league record above .500.
