Amherst baseball faces some very big foes.

Last Sunday they met the Ephs in a twin bill,

Sweeping two wins in a display of skill.

Right-hander Andy Kerns started game one,

And his pitching skills could not be outdone.

He struck out eight and allowed no Eph to score,

This complete game shut-out was hardcore.

This brings his pitching record to 4-0,

And his 3.09 ERA is a team low.

Now the Jeffs are champions of the Little III,

What Kerns can do next we'll have to wait and see.

Bub's is positive that it'll be something great,

Andy will help the Jeffs' postseason fate.
