The women's golf team will take to the links in competition for the first time this weekend at the Dartmouth Invitational. Dartmouth College plays host to this event on their home course, the Hanover Country Club. Amherst returns five golfers from the team that finished eighth in the final National Golf Coaches Association ranking last season. At the Dartmouth Invitational last fall, the Jeffs finished 10th in a field of 15 that included many Div. I powerhouses. Emily Foran '05 led the way last season with an individual finish of 37th, followed by classmate Meg Sullivan in 48th. Expect this pair of juniors along with senior Katherine Kuchefski, junior Sarah Godwin and sophomore Melissa Sidman to come up big for the Jeffs.
