The undefeated women's tennis team will head to the home of rival Williams College this Friday in an effort to continue their winning season. It looks to be a fair matchup as Williams has been almost equally successful so far this fall, with a 3-1 overall record. The Ephs recently defeated the Vassar College Brewers in a 9-0 shutout last Sunday. Partners Stephanie Hall and Kate Troy dominated the doubles matches by eliminating their Vassar challengers, 8-2. But while this was only Williams' second shutout of the season, Amherst has had three, the last of which was against Bowdoin last Sunday. At the Omni ITA New England Championships, juniors Rachel Holt and Tristan Hedrick fell to Ephs Courtney Bartlett and Julie Mallory. But in singles, Holt defeated Williams' Stephanie Hall to place second overall.
