Monteith, the NESCAC Offensive Player of the Week for his three-touchdown performance in Amherst's 41-0 win over Wes-leyan University, rushed 15 times for 157 yards and an average of 10.5 yards per carry. He leads the league in points scored with 42 and also in yards per carry with an average of 8.5. Monteith's standout performance against Wesleyan followed a 132-yard, two-touchdown game against Colby College.

Quad-captain forward Perry had the game-winning goal in the soccer team's thrilling overtime Homecoming victory over Wes-leyan University. 47 seconds of sudden-death overtime was all it took for Perry to head in the ball off of a feed from fellow senior Mike York to give the Jeffs a 1-0 victory. Perry leads the team in scoring with seven goals on the season. He also leads Amherst in career goals and points with 22 and 51, respectively.
