However, it was Venti's run that put the wind in Amherst's sail,
she burned rubber to power the Jeffs down the trail.
Amherst won the Little Threes and Venti came in first place,
Williams and Wesleyan never had a chance to win the race.
18 minutes, 15 seconds was a time no one could beat,
Venti truly is a Jeff whose feet are simply fleet.
This first place finish was Venti's second for the year,
she won New Englands too-others brought up the rear.
