Game of the Week: Football vs. Trinity
This weekend, the football team will host undefeated Trinity College. Last year, Trinity shared the NESCAC Championship with Williams College, but this season Trinity has clearly been the best team in the conference. The Bantams enter Saturday's game with a ferocious defense, which is currently allowing just 165.5 yards and 2.7 points per game. The Bantams have yet to surrender more than a touchdown in any one game. Amherst is coming off a heartbreaking 24-17 overtime loss to Tufts University. Against the Jumbos, Head Coach E.J. Mills was forced to rely heavily on his second-string quarterback and fourth- and fifth-string running backs. Needless to say, even at full strength the Jeffs would have their hands full with the Bantams, but one should never count Amherst out at Pratt Field.
