Game of the Week: Football vs. Williams College
By Sarah Rothbard, Sports Editor
The "Biggest Little Game in America" will take place this Saturday when the Jeffs and the Ephs meet for the 118th time. Amherst's record for the season stands at 4-3, while Williams College is 5-2. However, everyone knows that records mean little when these teams meet. Last season, Amherst stunned a heavily-favored Williams squad at home, 45-35. However, Amherst will suffer without the arm of injured junior quarterback Marsh Moseley. Another factor in the Purple Cows' favor is home field advantage; Amherst has not won in Williamstown since 1985. The Jeffs have overcome probability before, and with wins in two of the last three games, recent history is on Amherst's side. With the game airing on national television and capacity crowds, anything can and will happen when these two teams face off.
