Montigny netted two goals in the Amherst women's soccer team's season-ending 3-2 loss to Wheaton College at Sunday's NCAA Regional Championship game. Montigny's first goal of the game tied the score at one apiece and also ended Wheaton's six-game scoreless streak. With Wheaton up 2-1, Montigny again tied the score by spinning off a Wheaton defender and striking a well-placed clutch shot into the corner of the net. Unfortunately, her heroics weren't enough as the Jeffs fell, 3-2.
