Game of the Week: Women's ice hockey at Williams
By Emily O'Brien, Sports Editor
The women's ice hockey team will head to the home of archrival Williams College this Friday in an effort to rebound from a tough loss to fifth-ranked Bowdoin College last Saturday. Williams possesses a 7-1-0 NESCAC record compared to Amherst's 4-7-0 league record; the Jeffs have their work cut out for them. The Ephs were recently defeated by Middlebury College by a decisive score of 6-2. On Friday, the Jeffs defeated Colby College by a score of 5-1. Amherst will rely on forward Renee Sisti '06, a NESCAC Player of the Week, on the offensive end. Senior co-captain Tory Serues has also been an offensive threat of late, dishing out two assists against Colby. The Ephs trounced the Jeffs earlier this season by a score of 8-1. Amherst will be looking to redeeem themselves.
