Just one week after breaking the school record in the one-mile run, first-year phenom Garrahan broke yet another Amherst record in the 1000m race at last weekend's ECAC Championships. In addition, Garrahan's time of 2:54.78 set a new meet record. The first-year was also a member of the first-place women's Distance Medley Relay squad. She and a few other members of the men's and women's teams will travel to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater this weekend for the NCAA Championships.
