Game of the week: Men's Basketball vs. New Jersey City University

The fifth-ranked men's basketball team has reached the round of 16 in the NCAA Div. III Championships and will play New Jersey City University this Friday at Franklin and Marshall College. Though unranked, New Jersey City won the New Jersey Athletic Conference championship this season and is a talented team with a 22-6 record. The winner of the matchup will face the winner of the 8:00 p.m. contest between host F & M and Gwynedd-Mercy College. Amherst comes into the game against New Jersey City after a lopsided 113-85 victory over Plymouth State Saturday. The win showcased the talents of Adam Harper '04, who scored a career-high 29 points, and John Donovan '04 who netted a career-high 25 points. This is Amherst's seventh overall and fifth consecutive NCAA appearance.
