The Firedogs enter this weekend's home-opener Amherst Classic with a perfect 8-0 record. The team swept NESCAC opponents Wesleyan University, Trinity and Connecticut Colleges last weekend after winning the WNEC Invitational on Sept. 11. On Friday evening, Amherst faces non-conference opponents Muhlenberg College and Eastern Connecticut State University at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m., respectively. The semifinal and final matches take place on Saturday.
