The cross country teams will compete in the Little Three Championships this weekend at Wesleyan University. The Jeffs faced both competitors at the New England Championships last weekend, where the women finished in 17th behind both schools, with Williams College finishing in fourth, and Wesleyan finishing in 12th. The men fared similarly, finishing in 19th place, behind Williams in 10th place and Wesleyan in 17th place. Both teams are looking forward to the rematch this weekend. Leading the women will be sophomore harrier Shauneen Garrahan, who has easily assumed the top position for the women as senior Carter Hamill recovers from injury. Senior Matt Katz will continue to lead the men this weekend as he contends for a victory. This meet marks the beginning of the long-awaited championship season.
