Defensive specialist Raddock helped carry the Firedogs to the
NESCAC Tournament semifinals, leading the defense in digs in consecutive matches against Bates College and Tufts University. Raddock came up with 21 digs in the quarterfinals as the Firedogs cruised by the sixth-seeded Bates Bobcats, winning easily in three games. In the semifinals against the second-seeded Tufts Jumbos, Raddock came ready to play once again, amassing 43 digs to lead the defense as the Firedogs lost a 3-2 heartbreaker losing the first two games and coming back to tie up the match.
Kevin Graber
Graber, the College's sports information director, won three national sportswriting awards on Thursday. The College Sports Information Directors of America gave Graber the awards in the Event Coverage category. Graber's article, "The Championship Season: 2003 Women's Lacrosse," won first place in District One as well as in the national judging. He also earned first-place honors in the District One Coach/Administrator Profile category. Graber's articles were judged against submissions from sports information professionals throughout all NCAA divisions.
