and women's cross country should be pretty pleased.

They've had a great season and the outlook is fine,

for the women to make a mark come Nationals time.

But first this weekend they raced at Tufts U.,

at the ECAC Championships Katie Moravec flew.

She took 10th overall, for the team she was first,

the Jeffs took third-not bad, Amherst!

After all, they were racing without a few of their best,

who needed to take some time before Regionals to rest.

Next weekend Amherst runs way up in Maine,

hoping to keep times low and make a rankings gain.

This could be the year for the women's team,

Moravec and teammates should only pick up steam!
