Junior forward Sisti led the women's ice hockey team with a hat trick en route to a 5-4 victory over the College of the Holy Cross last Wednesday. The win sparked the Jeffs' current three-game winning streak. Sisti continued to play well over the weekend, adding a goal and an assist during Friday's defeat of Wesleyan University. Sisti has tallied 13 goals and nine assists this season to place her second on the team in scoring behind sophomore sensation Rachel Simon. As the regular season comes to an end and the team gears up for NESCACs, Sisti is surely a key player to watch.
• John Bedford '06
After scoring a career-high 31 points last Tuesday, junior guard John Bedford lived up to his own high standards Friday and Saturday when he helped the men's basketball team stretch their winning streak to 15 and clinch the NESCAC regular season crown. Bedford reached double digits in both games, tallying 15 points against Bates College and dropping in 14 points at Tufts University. Bedford is currently averaging an impressive 14.7 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. He will be one of the team's top players as the men play host to the NESCAC Tournament, which begins this weekend.
