To be the best in the nation Bub's knows is no easy task,
though this first-year swimmer clearly is the wrong person to ask.
It was her first time at the national meet and much was at stake,
the best in the country, in one pool-Bub's knows you just can't fake.
Four seniors were swimming in their final collegiate meet,
the underclassmen had to help make sure Amherst would compete.
Everyone broke records, but this Jeff was simply divine,
she crushed the competition and to the pressure she was blind.
Brittany Sasser won two national titles at NCAAs over break,
Bub's can tell already that this rookie's got more than what it takes.
But one pair of crowns just wasn't enough, Sasser had more to do:
she took fifth in the 200 IM and swam strong relay legs too.
The Jeffs finished fifth overall-their best-ever national place-
and much of the credit can go to Sasser's twice winning her race.
