The Jeffs' record against the Continentals is 21-1,
so anything but a big win would have proved a stun.
The football team rolled over Hamilton, 28-3-
Bub's certainly couldn't complain about the margin of victory.
The offense was on fire, four Jeffs pefected the endzone dance,
but Bub's goes to Mark Hannon for his 90-yard TD prance.
The wideout gained 175 yards to lead Amherst's attack,
he rushed, he returned, he received-Hannon could not be held back.
The Jeffs are 1-0 with their first real test on Saturday,
as the Polar Bears of Bowdoin come to Pratt Field to play.
Last year Amherst was victorious in double OT action,
Bub's expects a repeat win for the Lord Jeff faction.
Can Hannon replicate his play? Will the Bears be out in the cold?
Jeff fans, head down to Pratt Field to see the story unfold.
