GAME OF THE WEEK: Women's Tennis at Williams College
The undefeated Jeffs tore Bowdoin and Colby Colleges to pieces last weekend, defeating the Polar Bears, 8-1, and blanking the White Mules, 9-0. The Jeffs look forward to a repeat performance this weekend when they travel to Williamstown, Mass., to face off against the archrival Ephs of Williams College, who also currently stand at 3-0. Amherst has yet to lose a singles match this season, and its doubles teams are also on fire. The team will rely upon the consistent play of its top singles players-in order of rank-tri-captain Kristen Raverta '06, Monica Snyder '08, Alicia Menezes '08, Jenny Murphy '08, tri-captain Hadley Miller '06 and Laura Stein '08. The dynamite combination of Raverta and Menezes will be a force for the Ephs' top doubles pair to reckon with, and the Murphy-Snyder and Miller-Stein duos are expected to continue strong play at the second and third doubles positions, respectively.
