•Mark Hannon '07

The junior widereceiver commenced the merciless massacre of Wesleyan University on Saturday as he took in a 55-yard punt return (the longest by a Jeff on the season) midway through the first quarter. Hannon continued to make his presence known throughout the game, as he scored another touchdown in the third stanza off of a 25-yard pass from quarterback Nick Kehoe '07. Hannon currently ranks first on the team in receiving and punt and kick returns with 278, 714 and 138 yards, respectively, so far this season. He also leads the team with six touchdowns.

•Jeff Grover '09

After earning his first career shutout in his first collegiate start over a month ago against Salve Regina University, the Amherst goalkeeper was perfect in two crucial games for the men's soccer team. When senior goalkeeper Greg Lockwood sustained an injury with 9:05 remaining against Middlebury College, Grover came in to preserve the Jeff win. Grover got the nod again on Saturday in the match against Wesleyan University. The Jeffs and Cardinals played to a 0-0 tie, thanks in part to Grover's heroics. The rookie notched seven saves, broke up breakaways and kept the Cardinals off the scoreboard for two halves and two overtime sessions.
