Game of the Week: Men's and Women's Squash vs. Tufts University
By Jesse Corradi, Sports Editor
In what may be one of the most competitive NESCAC draws in recent years, the fight for second place in the conference is up for grabs in 2005-06. The Jeffs look to begin their quest for NESCAC glory as they take on 17th-ranked Tufts University today. This match is a vital step for the Jeffs as they look to move up the NESCAC ladder, especially after convincing wins against Northeastern University in their season-openers. The men will look to tri-captains Nick Haslett '06, Auloke Mather '07 and Tyler Mixter '06 to continue playing with strong leadership and poise. First-year Drew Blacker-11th ranked under-19 player in the United States-also provides a great addition to the team. For the women, look for Libby Martin '08 as well as juniors Caroline Shannon and Emily O'Brien to bring constant toughness and consistency to the court.
