GaME OF THE WEEK: Women's Swimming and Diving at NESCAC Championships
The women's swimming and diving team is ramping it up for the NESCAC Championships this weekend at Bowdoin College. The team heads into the meet with an 8-1 record and a victory in its last meet. On Feb. 4, the women trounced Springfield College 133-108. In the upcoming championships, Williams College looks to be the Jeffs' fiercest competition. Last year at NESCACs, the team came in second behind the Ephs by almost 300 points. This year, the team's only loss was to the Ephs, 127-171. As always, look for sophomore star Brittany Sasser to make a splash while co-captains Margaret Ramsey '07 and Mia Anderson '06 lead the women in point-production. Last year, Sasser shattered NESCAC Championship records in the 100- and 200-yard backstroke events. The women have an excellent chance to drown the Ephs and take the NESCAC title this weekend.
