GAME OF THE WEEK: Men's and Women's CSA Individual Championships
The top squash competitors in the nation travel to Amherst to compete in the College Squash Association Individual Championships this weekend at Davenport Courts. Although the team National Championship was decided a week ago, the top-73 individual players are set to battle it out for individual honors, among them Amherst first-year Drew Blacker. The men's draw will be centered around individuals from perennial national powerhouses Trinity College and Harvard, Yale and Princeton Universities. Siddharth Suchde, Harvard's number-one player as well as the top-ranked college squash player in the nation, will look to clean up against Julian Illingworth of Yale as well as Trinity's players among the top-10 in the nation. But it will be difficult as the competition will be fierce and unrelenting. In the women's individual matches, look for athletes from top-ranked Yale (who has the top-five players in the nation), Trinity and Harvard to leave their mark.
