The Amherst women's tennis team will play host to the Williams Ephs this Saturday in a rematch of the fall contest that ended up deciding the NESCAC Champion. The Jeffs came away with a convincing win in October behind the leadership of senior tri-captain Kristin Raverta and sophomores Alicia Menezes and Monica Snyder.. They will be crucial in this weekend's matchup in order to defend their fall victory over the Ephs. However, Williams will certainly be gunning for the Jeffs as this will be their chance to respond to their defeat in the previous meeting. Williams is coming off a recent defeat to Middlebury-who the Jeffs handled 6-3-but played solid tennis up until that point. Although this match has no significance in determining the NESCAC Champion, the Jeffs will have to bring their "A" game in order to fend off the Ephs.
