Coming off a successful weekend, the Amherst volleyball team prepares to host the NESCAC Quad on Friday and Saturday in LeFrak Gymnasium. The squad seems poised to extend their winning streak and build on the momentum gained in the matches against Roger Williams University, Rivier College and the University of New England. Co-captain outside hitter Kristin Quinn '07 led the charge for the Firedogs, consistently posting high killing percentages. Also essential to the lineup will be setter Sarah Heller '09, and back row members Laura Golden '07, Bethany Belisle '10 and Julie Berkley '08. This weekend's quad will be the first true NESCAC test for a team that has a lot to prove after last year's first round exit from the tournament. However, given the team's dominance last weekend, and a unique combination of chemistry and ability, there looks to be some exciting moments for Firedog fans this weekend.
