Sophomore forward Jake Duker led the Jeffs as they dominated Roger Williams University on their home field Sunday, his feats bracketing the team's efforts in the game. Early in the first half, he kicked off the game in style, breaking through the opposing team's defense to fire in a left-footed goal from 18 yards out. But the forward wasn't done. He finished the game with a through-ball to senior co-captain Rob Madden that resulted in the day's final score. The season is still young for the men's soccer team, so continue to watch for more from this sophomore.

Senior co-captain Kristin Quinn nabbed NESCAC Player of the Week Honors this week. On Saturday, the Firedogs shut down all three of their opponents, including hosting Roger Williams University. Quinn earned all-tournament honors, averaging 3.11 kills per game with a hitting percentage of 0.460 and tallying 10 blocks and 11 aces. Quinn is not a stranger to NES-
CAC accolades, as she earned NESCAC Rookie of the Year in 2003 and all-conference honors for her three years of play. A consistent force on the team, the 'Dogs are looking at another solid season from Quinn.
