Game of the Week: Men's Soccer v. Wesleyan University
By Jesse Corradi, Sports Editor
The Jeffs have roared back to the top of the national soccer rankings as they prepare for one of their most important matchups of the year. The Wesleyan Cardinals are currently ranked first in the New England regional poll, giving the Jeffs added incentive to win. The team has bounced back since their disappointing loss against rival Bowdoin College, soundly defeating once nationally-ranked Middlebury College while stomping on visitors Conn. College and Colby College. These games have shown the emergence of a solid backline that has allowed a league-low 84 shots on net while energizing the offense. In Saturday's contest, look for the Jeffs to depend on the passing of sophomore Nick Lynch, the winning attitudes of juniors Ryan O'Donnell and John Kneeland, and the playmaking ability of forwards Jake Duker and Mike Wohl.
