Only three NESCAC teams have topped Amherst this fall;

In the NESCAC Tournament the 'Dogs had a rematch with them all.

The Bantams, Cardinals and Ephs were disappointed this time;

For Kristin Quinn and the Firedogs, revenge was sublime.

First up was Trin; Amherst knocked them out in three,

However, the next two wins didn't come so easily.

Wesleyan picked up the offense in the semifinal round;

But Quinn's 12 kills and an ace hit the Cardinals' ground.

Amherst won in five games to challenge Williams for the title;

It's an understatement to say Quinn's contributions were vital.

Williams had trouble scoring as Quinn posted key blocks,

And one of Quinn's kills nearly knocked off the Ephs' socks.

As NESCAC champs, Amherst earned an NCAA invitation;

Opponents of the Firedogs: prepare to face annihilation!
