Bub's Player of the Week: Brittany Sasser '08
By Lauren Benson, Editor-in-Chief

At the NESCAC meet, Brittany Sasser was in a league of her own;

Seven times in three days she ascended the championship throne.

The junior star has long been known for her ability to win:

This weekend she was the best in the pool each time she dove in.

Since no NESCAC swimmer could keep up with Sasser's pace,

She decided to see just how many records she could chase.

As Sasser swam, pool, meet and national records fell;

Seeing her name in the Ephs' record books suits Amherst well.

Sasser joined her teammates in the 400- and 800-yard free;

Amherst relays also took first in both distances of medley.

As an individual, this Jeff got three titles to her name:

The IM and two backstroke events brought Sasser solo fame.

She was named the NESCAC's best swimmer for her 7-7 feat;

Look for her to make another splash at the NCAA meet.
