GAME OF THE WEEK: Men's Basketball vs. Stevens Institute of Technology
By Brittany Berckes, Sports Editor
After coming off a first-round bye and a second-round victory against Widener University, the men's basketball team is focused on winning it all. This Saturday will be another stepping stone for the Jeffs. At 8:00 in LeFrak Gymnasium the Jeffs will face their Round of 16 opponent Stevens Institute of Technology, a team surprised that it received a Pool C at-large bid into the National Tournament. The Ducks' standout guards Waleed Farid and Virgil Gray II will look to dominate the Jeffs; if the Jeffs continue their streaking ways, that figures to be easier said than done. Thanks to quad-captain forward Dan Wheeler '07, guard Andrew Olson '08 and center Kevin Hopkins '08, the Jeffs look nearly unstoppable. Tickets for this weekend's game can be purchased at the door, which opens at 4:00. Adults will be charged $7 per ticket, students with a valid ID will be charged $4, and children under two will be admitted free of charge.
