Center Kevin Hopkins' junior season has been a momentous one for the men's basketball team. His best game of the season came at the best time for the Jeffs; he scored 24 points on 10-12 shooting in the Amherst's 87-70 win over Widener University last Saturday. His outburst came in just 22 minutes and he clearly benefited from Widener's small front court. Hopkins also had six rebounds, pushing him over 100 for the season. Averaging 10.3 points per game, Hopkins is one of five Jeffs-and the only reserve-scoring in double figures on the season

She is the Jeffs' second leading scorer with 32 points this season-only a point behind sophomore and team scoring leader Tarasai Karega.
