GAME OF THE WEEK: Volleyball vs. Middlebury College
By Mary Doris Reggie, Sports Editor
The Firedogs will travel to Tufts University this weekend, where they will face NESCAC rivals Hamilton and Middlebury Colleges. These are the first NESCAC match-ups of the season for the Jeffs, who remain undefeated entering today's game against Keene State.

Middlebury currently has a record of 3-1, with its only loss coming to Clarkson, 3-2, in the season opener. Hamilton, by contrast, is currently ranked last in the league with a dismal 0-5 record. Amherst will look for support from senior captain Jaclyn DeMais, who earned MVP honors at the Roger Williams Invitational Tournament for the second year in a row and is the reigning NESCAC Player of the Week.

DeMais is averaging 4.3 kills per game in the first week of play. After dominating their first three games of the season, the Firedogs enter the NESCAC portion of their schedule wth ample momentum.
