Every athlete dreams of being the cream of the crop;

But it is rarely a first-year who rises to the top.

Hayley Milbourn won her first college tournament;

Over players from Div. I and Div. III, she made her ascent.

The tournament was hosted by the Dartmouth Big Green;

From the outset Milbourn showed that she was the queen.

Milbourn came out on fire, and shot a miniscule 71;

Who would have thought her college career had just begun?

Milbourn's performance was the only sub-par round of the day;

She followed that up with another round of solid play.

A 75 kept Milbourn alive at the top of the leader board;

She held off a Harvard golfer to take the first place award.

Milbourn's rookie season is off to a great beginning;

The Lord Jeffs hope this first-year will keep on winning.
