The regular season was great for the women's volleyball team;
Throughout 28 games, winning was the major theme.
The Firedogs' dominance made them the NESCAC playoff host;
Thanks in part to Kouvaris' hitting from outside the post.
Now it is the postseason, and this senior continues to produce:
Against Bowdoin, Kouvaris contributed to the Polar Bear abuse.
She led Amherst in hitting percentage, putting up 14 kills;
The Firedogs won and earned another chance to show their skills.
Next up was Conn.-Amherst had a loss to avenge;
Kouvaris made sure the Firedogs got their revenge.
The tri-captain delivered 23 kills to lead all players in LeFrak;
Amherst advanced to the finals and took the second place plaque.
The Firedogs' season continues with the NCAA competition;
To lead Amherst to another trophy will be Kouvaris' mission.
