With the Jeffs quarterfinal NESCAC game against Connecticut College tied 2-2, the Jeffs needed someone to step up and play the role of hero.
It initially appeared as though the Jeffs were going to skate away with the victory, taking an early 2-0 lead in the first period. However, the Camels tied the game up in the middle of the third period.
With the game going to overtime, senior defender Mike McIntosh wasted no time stepping up as the Jeffs’ hero. Just 2:27 into the period, McIntosh scored his fourth goal of the season to send the Jeffs to a semifinal match-up against Colby College this Saturday.
