The Jeffs’ star goalkeeper, sophomore Krystyn Elek, received NESCAC Player of the Week honors for helping Amherst win its second consecutive conference championship on Sunday.

Elek recorded an impressive save percentage of 0.957 in the last two rounds of the championship tournament, making a total of 44 saves and only allowing in two goals.

This is the third time that Elek has earned NESCAC recognition for her performance, and a fitting follow-up to her Rookie of the Year title from last season.
