Sophomore wideout Andre Gary had a breakout performance in the Jeffs’ tough Homecoming loss to Williams College on Saturday.

Gary caught eight passes for 109 yards and had one touchdown reception in the loss. In the second quarter, a 27-yard completion to Gary led to a rushing touchdown, giving the Jeffs a 10-0 lead only 26 seconds into the game. Gary then caught a 29-yard touchdown pass, giving the Jeffs a 17-10 lead in the third quarter.

Gary caught 19 passes for 178 yards on the season and, after a strong finish to the year, should see more action in the 2009 campaign.
