In Sunday’s defeat of Union College, Stern had a hand in all three pool records the women set that day.

Stern’s first race shattered the 200 free record by three seconds with a time of 1:50.92. In addition to a new pool record, Stern’s performance is also the fastest time in the 200 produced by any Division III swimmer so far this year.

Stern then set another record with a 57.29 in the 100 butterfly. To close the meet, Stern teamed with sister Meghan Stern ’09, Becca Thompson ’12 and Alex Lee ’09 in the 800 free relay. Stern anchored the race, which the team finished 23 seconds ahead of the runner-up with a record time of 7:49.35.
