Senior captain Melissa Moulton was the only Amherst player, male or female, to go 2-0 on the weekend in the Little III Championships, where both teams took second place.

In the first match of the day, Moulton easily handled Wesleyan’s Jenny Chu, taking the win 3-0. However, Moulton faced a tough match against Williams’ Kavitha Mannava. After a hard-fought battle, Moulton took the match (10-9, 5-9, 10-9, 9-0). Moulton’s win at the No. 6 spot prevented a sweep by the Ephs.

Moulton looks to lead the Jeffs in the competition for the division title in the season’s final week.
